Fouad Masri

John 10:10 Founder and President Fouad Masri is an author, speaker, and ministry leader born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon. He has spent decades helping the Church meet and love its Muslim neighbor through biblical clarity, cultural understanding, and Gospel conviction.

From a war-torn city to a global ministry

Fouad was born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, during the country’s long civil war. He grew up in a household shaped by faith — the grandson and son of ordained pastors — and in a city where Christians and Muslims lived side by side, sometimes as neighbors, sometimes as combatants, often as both.

As a young man, he gave his life to Jesus in a way that left no part of his future untouched. The same city that had taught him fear had also given him friendships across the religious divide. He carried both with him.

He went on to study Islam formally, earning a master’s degree in Islamic Studies. The point was never to win arguments. It was to understand his neighbors well enough to love them well — and to help other Christians do the same.

When he eventually moved to North America, he decided to spend his life equipping the Church for the work he had been preparing for since Beirut.

In 1993, that decision became Crescent Project. Currently, Fouad is the Vice President of Muslim Engagement, merging Crescent Project by joining forces with Bethany International.
